Ask questions about what has been read and find the answers to those questions.
Expand ideas on readings about events and issues through writing and discussion.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers and take rational number to whole-number powers.
Convert fractions to decimals and percents and use these representation in estimations, and applications.
Solve problems that involve discounts, markups, commissions, and profit and compute simple and compound interest.
